Terms of Service

1. What TDRC is

The Dreamin' Roomie Connect ("TDRC") helps adults attending conferences find compatible people with whom they may share hotel accommodations and reduce lodging costs. TDRC facilitates introductions, matching, and communication between Members.

2. What TDRC does not do

TDRC does not:

• book or reserve hotel rooms, or act as a hotel or travel agent;
• transfer money between roommates, or hold deposits or escrow;
• collect payment-card or bank information;
• perform background checks or criminal-history screening;
• guarantee a Member's identity, conduct, or personal safety;
• guarantee compatibility, or that a roommate arrangement will be completed;
• guarantee the authenticity or continued validity of a hotel reservation, or insure a roommate arrangement.

You remain responsible for evaluating any prospective roommate, making your own hotel arrangements, handling any payment directly with your roommate outside TDRC, and deciding whether to proceed with a roommate arrangement.

3. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your legal/account name used during identity review. You may not directly change your own administrative role, account enforcement state, identity-review outcome, reputation adjustment, suspension or ban status, matching restriction, or administrative clearance.

4. Identity review

Marketplace access requires completing TDRC's manual government-ID identity-review process. A successful review indicates only that TDRC completed that process — it is not a background check, criminal-history screening, or a guarantee of identity or safety.

5. Listings, Match Requests, and Matches

Eligible Members may create roommate listings, discover other eligible listings, review compatibility information, and send or respond to Match Requests. A Match may result in exactly one Conversation between the two Match participants. Messages are immutable once sent and may not be edited after sending.

6. Blocking, reporting, and moderation

You may block another Member or submit a Report about applicable marketplace behavior. TDRC reviews the underlying incident before any enforcement-based reliability adjustment is applied — a Report alone does not automatically reduce a Member's reliability score. Authorized staff may warn, restrict, suspend, or ban a Member for material violations. You may submit one appeal within 30 days of an appealable enforcement action.

7. Payment for TDRC access

TDRC charges for Event unlocks and the Annual Access Plan as described on our Pricing page. These charges are for access to TDRC's matching platform only, and are unrelated to any hotel booking or payment you arrange with a roommate.

8. Account termination

TDRC may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. You may stop using TDRC at any time.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new policy version on this page.
